After Syrian jet shot down, Netanyahu says Israel won’t tolerate infiltrations
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemns the infiltration of a Syrian military jet two kilometers into Israeli airspace as a “flagrant violation of the disengagement agreement with Syria from 1974.”
The Syrian plane was shot down by the Israeli army.
“We will not tolerate any infiltration or spillover [of fire] into our country, not from land and not from the air,” adds Netanyahu.
Backing the Israeli military response, Netanyahu says: “We insist Syria strictly adhere to the separation agreements between us.”
