At end of ceasefire, siren sounds in Ashkelon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSirens are sounding at the Ashkelon Industrial Zone at the very minute that the humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and Hamas ends on Thursday afternoon.
Israeli officials have warned that resumed rocket fire would lead to Israel responding with “very great force,” suggesting that Israel would not itself break the ceasefire.
That seems to be irrelevant with the resumption of rocket fire.
Israel rejects an extension of the humanitarian truce from its side.
