Biden in call with Netanyahu on US support

US President Joe Biden is speaking with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the White House says.
It is their third call since Hamas’s brutal shock assault on Saturday.
The leaders are to “discuss [US] support for Israel and [US] efforts coordinated with partners and allies to defend Israel and innocent people against terrorism and to deter other hostile actors from exploiting this attack on Israel,” the White House says.
Before the call, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were briefed by their national security teams, the White House adds.
