Border cop shoots driver who police say accelerated toward them in East Jerusalem
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Border Police officer shoots a car accelerating toward cops in East Jerusalem’s Issawiya, the force says, “neutralizing” the driver.
Police say the officer opened fire after feeling his life was in danger, adding that an investigation into the incident was opened.
The driver was seriously wounded and taken to a local hospital, according to Hebrew media reports. No policemen were injured.
