Calls to carry out arson attacks in Israel on Palestinian social media

In recent hours, some Palestinians have been calling on social media to carry out arson attacks in Israel, to create further chaos amid the spreading fires. One message on the Palestinian channel Shehab, which is affiliated with Hamas, says: “There are popular calls to set fire to forests near the settlements” (a term used for all Israeli communities).

Another message circulated on Twitter across several accounts states: “Your role is to set fire to gardens, vehicles, and everything around the settlements.”
