Ceasefire sends Gazans outdoors, to the bank
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael Radio reporter Gal Berger says Gazans are reporting increased traffic in Gaza’s streets for the first time in days as the five-hour humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and Hamas goes into effect.
There are lines of hundreds of people outside banks, which are opened for the first time in 10 days, he reports. Municipal officials are using the opportunity to repair electricity and water infrastructure damaged in the fighting.
