Egypt talks will tell if Hamas is serious about Gaza deal, Rubio says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the war in Gaza has not yet ended and work remains to be done before Israel and Hamas both finalize an agreement based on US President Donald Trump’s plan to end fighting and free the hostages.
“We will know very quickly whether Hamas is serious or not by how these technical talks go in terms of the logistics,” Rubio tells NBC News’ “Meet the Press” about talks set to be held tomorrow aimed at hashing out the logistics of a planned immediate hostages-for-prisoners swap.
