European Union: ‘Ukraine is one of us and we want them in’

Ukraine is “one of us and we want them in the European Union,” she tells Euronews.
She does not say is the move is imminent. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has asked to be accepted into the bloc immediately.
She says peace talks between Ukraine and Russia are “important,” but that “the trust in president Putin is completely broken and eroded.”
