Avi Ohana, the father of the released hostage Yosef Chaim Ohana, thanks God, the Israeli nation, the IDF, and his rabbis for all of the support and prayers in helping bring his son home during a Tuesday night statement at Sheba Hospital.

He cites three IDF officers by name and calls them “angels in green” who accompanied and supported the family throughout the last two years.

Ohana thanks the government leadership for its brave decisions and relentless efforts to bring home the hostages, offers heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families, prays for the physical and emotional health of the injured, and hopes for unity, mercy, and days of peace.
