After reports surfaced of Deputy Foreign Minister Idan Roll meeting with Sudanese Justice Minister Nasredeen Abdulbari in the UAE, the Foreign Ministry releases details of the meeting.

The two officials agreed on future cooperation on training for high-tech careers, according to the ministry.

Roll also emphasized the importance of Sudan and Israel signing an agreement that establishes formal diplomatic ties between the countries. Israel and Sudan signed an agreement in October 2020 in which they agreed to normalize ties in the future.

Regional Affairs Minister Issawi Frej, who also met with Abdulbari, says the Sudanese minister told him that cooperation on education and culture is more prized by Sudan than economic agreements between the countries.
