Hamas takes responsibility for morning infiltration
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas takes responsibility for the attempted infiltration into Israel on Thursday morning.
Thirteen fighters emerged from a tunnel from Gaza carrying assault rifles and RPG rockets, but were driven back into the tunnel when they were spotted by the IDF.
Hamas also says in recent minutes that all the fighters returned home safely. The IDF says it wounded a number but wouldn’t say how many.
The IDF bombed the tunnel entrance only seconds after the fighters fled into it.
