Head of IDF Northern Command meets local officials in Majdal Shams

The chief of the IDF Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin meets with local officials in Majdal Shams this evening, following the deadly Hezbollah rocket attack on the Golan Heights town.

Gordin also holds an assessment with the head of the 210th “Bashan” Regional Division, Brig. Gen. Yair Peli, and other commanders.

Earlier today, Gordin spoke with Sheikh Muafak Tarif, the spiritual leader of Israel’s Druze community, to “express his deep sorrow” over the deadly Hezbollah attack, the military adds.
