IDF says Islamic Jihad commander who posed threat was killed in Tuesday strike in Gaza

A Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander was killed in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza Strip this week, the military announces.
The IDF says the strike on Tuesday in Khan Younis killed Adam Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Hadid, a commander in Islamic Jihad’s “weapons production array.”
The unit is responsible for the manufacturing and supply of all weapons to the terror group’s military wing.
The military says Abu Hadid “was involved in various processes within the production array, and oversaw infrastructure that was used to manufacture additional weapons intended to attack IDF troops and Israeli civilians.”
Abu Hadid “posed an immediate threat to the troops and was eliminated in a precise strike,” the IDF adds.
