One of the Israeli Navy’s new landing craft, or logistics support vessel, is seen arriving at Ashdod Port with some of the detained activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla.

The vast majority of the flotilla’s 47 boats have been intercepted and boarded by forces of the Shayetet 13 naval commando unit. Upon arrival in Israel, the detained activists are set to be deported from the country.

Contrary to claims made by some activists — based on wrong tracking information — none of the flotilla’s vessels managed to reach the Israeli-controlled waters off the coast of Gaza, the military has asserted.
