Israeli short ‘Aya’ to vie for Oscar
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli short “Aya” will represent Israel at the next Academy Awards.
The 40-minute-long film starts Sarah Adler and Ulrich Thomsen and was produced by Israeli actress Yael Abecassis.
Directed by Oded Bin Nun and Michal Brezis, the film tells the story of two strangers who meet at the airport. The man, played by Ulrich Thomsen, mistakenly thinks the woman (played by Sarah Adler) is his chauffeur, and she decides not to correct him.
