Liberman: PM prevented assassination of Islamic Jihad commander last year
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleYisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman says that last year Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “prevented” the assassination of Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Baha Abu al-Ata, killed in a Tuesday strike by the IDF.
“A year ago, Netanyahu resisted his targeted killing and sat back. I thought even a year ago that his time had come, but the prime minister forcibly prevented it,” Liberman tells the Walla news site.
