Netanyahu says destroying Hezbollah tunnels a ‘broad and ongoing operation’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNetanyahu says IDF efforts to destroy cross-border tunnels build by Hezbollah is “not a limited operation, but a broad and ongoing operation” that will continue until “all objectives are reached.”
He tells reporters at a press conference that “Hezbollah knows that whoever attacks Israel will pay a heavy price.”
“By digging the tunnels that extend into Israeli territory, Hezbollah has blatantly violated our sovereignty as well as UN Resolution 1701.
He says that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed during their talks yesterday to levy sanctions against Hezbollah, Iran-back terrorist militia.
