Netherlands becomes latest country to lower Israel travel warning after ceasefire

Following the Gaza ceasefire reached last month, the Dutch Foreign Ministry has significantly downgraded its travel warning for Israel, removing its recommendation to avoid travel in most areas of the country, Israel’s Foreign Ministry says in a statement.
Over two dozen countries have eased or lifted travel warnings for most areas in Israel since June — the majority of them following the ceasefire agreement — including Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, and Japan, according to the ministry.
