New Delhi summons Iranian deputy ambassador over killing of Indian sailor in Hormuz attack

India has summoned Iran’s deputy ambassador over the killing of an Indian seafarer in the Strait of Hormuz, an Indian government official says.

Yesterday, the UAE defense ministry said that two national tankers were targeted by two Iranian cruise missiles in the southern lane of the Strait of Hormuz in Omani territorial waters, killing one Indian crew member and wounding eight , four of them seriously.
