New York cuts business with ‘Russian entities,’ other states take vodka off shelves

“I signed an Executive Order directing State agencies to stop doing business with Russian entities,” Hochul says.
“We stand firmly with Ukraine and condemn Putin’s actions.”
The details of the order are not immediately clear.
New York State landmarks, including Niagara Falls and the Empire State Building, have lit up with Ukraine’s colors since the invasion in solidarity.
The governors of other US states order government-run liquor stores to take Russian vodka off their shelves.
Utah, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania make the largely symbolic gesture to Ukraine.
