Polish embassy in Tel Aviv vandalized with swastikas
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Polish embassy in Tel Aviv has been vandalized with swastikas and anti-Polish graffiti, Hebrew media reports say.
Police have opened an investigation.
The act comes amid fury in Israel over a Polish bill that bars accusing the Polish nation of complicity in the Nazi crimes in the Holocasut.
Yesterday Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that “there were Polish perpetrators, as there were Jewish perpetrators, as there were Russian perpetrators, as there were Ukrainian; not only German perpetrators,” sparking further Israeli anger.
