Ramon airport to reopen to international traffic next month – report
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael’s airports authority says the Ramon Airport near Eilat will reopen to international flights on December 10, Ynet reports.
The southern Negev airport, which opened to much fanfare in January 2019, has been essentially shuttered to international traffic since the start of the pandemic.
Located some 17 kilometers (10 miles) from Eilat, the airport is designed to bring millions of tourists to and from the Red Sea resort city each year.
