Israeli swimmer Ron Polonsky fails to advance to the final after finishing 16th out of 16 in the men’s 100m breaststroke semifinal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In the qualifying round, Polonsky set a new Israeli record with a time of exactly 1:00:00, securing him a spot in the semifinal, where his time was 1:00:37. Polonsky — whose sister Leah is also swimming for Israel in Paris — will compete in the 200 m individual medley and the mixed 4 × 100 m medley relay later this week.
