Russia: Jewish state law will ‘increase regional tension’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Russian Foreign Ministry condemns Israel’s new Jewish state law, saying it “complicates the peace process” and is liable to “increase regional tension.”
The statement is reported by the Russian Interfax agency.
It comes a day after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made a surprise visit to Israel for talks largely centered on the Iranian military presence in Syria.
