Stalemate with Hamas not enough, ex-intel chief says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEx-military intelligence chief Amos Yadlin says Israel and Hamas are currently “in a strategic tie” and that’s not good enough.
Israel’s defensive performance is “phenomenal,” he tells Channel 2 — thwarting tunnel attacks, sea infiltrations, and rockets. But it is not hurting Hamas significantly.
Military operations to counter the Hamas tunnels “should have begun days ago,” he says.
