Opposition politician Avigdor Liberman received a death threat today, “one day before Rosh Hashanah,” a spokesperson for his Yisrael Beytenu party announces, adding that a complaint had been filed with the Israel Police.

According to the party’s statement, Liberman received a message saying that “Spies from Russia will be executed… Liberman will be the first.”

Aside from sharing a cover page of the police complaint, the party does not provide any additional information.
