4 New Israeli TV Series Streaming This Fall
A new season of comedy hit Kupa Rashit, October 7 documentary series, and more: Discover the new TV series coming to Jewish streaming platform ChaiFlicks this Fall.

From Fauda star Yaakov Zada Daniel’s award-winning drama Unsilenced, to a new season of Checkout — known in Israel as Kupa Rashit — ChaiFlicks is bringing some of Israel’s best TV series to screens worldwide. And to the rejoice of non-Hebrew speakers, all of these titles will feature English subtitles!
Unsilenced: Israel’s Best Drama of the Year

Based on a true story, Unsilenced follows a newly-elected Israeli President (Yaakov Daniel Zada, Fauda) whose political ascent is brought into question as accusations of sexual harassment begin to surface. As his close confidantes attempt to mitigate the scandal, more secrets come to light — threatening to rock the President’s chambers and the whole country.
If any of this sounds familiar to the politically-inclined, it’s because this series is based on the story of former Israeli president Moshe Katsav, who in the early 2000s was the first Israeli politician convicted of a felony while in office.
In the two decades that have passed since, the questions raised by this historic event remain as relevant as ever. This is evident in Unsilenced’s prolific sweep of the Israeli TV Awards this year, taking home six awards including Best Drama Series.
Unsilenced is now streaming on ChaiFlicks in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Picture This: Stories From October 7

A unique interview format, featuring 8 intimate one-on-one interviews hosted by veteran Israeli journalist Ben Shani and dedicated to the stories of those who endured the October 7 attacks on southern Israel.
Interviewees include survivors from the Nova party, a hostage who has been freed from Hamas captivity, a first response unit commander, and more. Each interview is accompanied by vivid illustrations from some of the country’s top artists (Waltz with Bashir, Where Is Anne Frank, Legend of Destruction).
Picture This is now streaming exclusively on ChaiFlicks.
Checkout (AKA Kupa Rashit): Season 4

Israel’s most popular comedy is finally back for another season. For the uninitiated, Checkout is a mockumentary that follows the ordeals of a failing supermarket in Israel’s periphery.
Perfectionist manager Shira (Noa Koler, The Wedding Plan) continuously attempts to bring success and order to the store, while her motley crew of employees do anything but their jobs. Throw in a diverse cast of typically-Israeli customers — and you get a potent mix of sabra comedy.
Checkout, or Kupa Rashit as it’s known in Israel, is the country’s most popular comedy of the past decade and is a must-watch for those looking for a quick laugh.
The first three seasons of Checkout are already streaming on ChaiFlicks. Catch up now before the fourth season starts on November 13.
The Chef: Star-Studded Tel Aviv Restaurant Drama

Tel Aviv’s restaurants are well-known for their world class cuisine. But it’s what happens behind the counter that’s at the heart of The Chef.
With an all-star cast featuring Rotem Sela (The Beauty & The Baker, A Body That Works), Guri Alfi (The New Black), and Gal Toren (Losing Alice) — this kitchen drama certainly brings the heat.
The series follows Nimrod (Alfi), a former high-tech worker who’s tired of the startup life. He finds a job at a well-known restaurant run by Dori (Toren) — a rockstar chef at the height of his career. When a new buzzy restaurant led by Osnat (Sela) takes the limelight away from Dori — the trio is set on a collision course fueled by Tel Aviv’s unrelenting restaurant scene.
And while it sounds quite similar to American series The Bear, This Israeli version aired long before Carmy and his crew came around!
The Chef streams on ChaiFlicks December 19th
