Magen David Adom paramedics made 2,334 house calls, and took 1,464 people to hospitals, in the course of Yom Kippur.

According to an MDA report, 108 people lost consciousness fasting, including nine who required resuscitation.

As the streets teemed with bicycle-riding and skating children, taking advantage of the annual 25 hours when the roads are almost completely vehicle-free, 264 cyclists needed treatment for injuries.
