The European Union condemns as “appalling” a deadly stabbing attack outside a synagogue in Britain, with the bloc’s chief and top diplomat vowing to keep fighting hate and antisemitism.
“The deliberate attack in Manchester against innocent worshippers at a synagogue on Yom Kippur is utterly appalling. Hate, antisemitism and violence have no place in our society,” EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas writes on X.
“We must keep fighting antisemitism in all its forms,” says European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
