Fresh clashes erupt in Beirut as PM announces resignation
Fresh protests are taking place in Beirut, as Lebanese citizens continue to vent frustrations at endemic government corruption.
Protesters have toppled a security wall and clashes are being reported near parliament, Naharnet news reports.
Videos show fighting between riot police, who are firing tear gas, and protesters.

The clashes take place as Prime Minister Hassan Diab addresses the nation, hours after turning in the resignation of his whole government.
