Hamas expects additional aid supply to Gaza from Saturday, Rafah crossing to open mid-week
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEntry of additional humanitarian aid and other essential supplies to the Gaza Strip will begin tomorrow, a senior Hamas official says, according to the Haaretz daily.
According to the report, mediators informed Hamas that the supply entry will begin tomorrow and that the supplies will include gas and other fuels.
The report adds that the mediators have reached out to the Israel Electric Corporation to prepare to resume power supply to the enclave.
In addition, the Rafah Crossing will open to civilians in both directions in the middle of next week, the report adds.
