President Isaac Herzog sends a personal letter to outgoing strategic affairs minister Ron Dermer, hailing his contribution to the release of the hostages from Gaza.

“Not many citizens were exposed to your operations,” writes Herzog in English.

“You maintained your integrity and earned the trust of world leaders and high level negotiators,” Herzog continues, “leading to your pivotal contribution to the ceasefire, and the release of our beloved hostages.”
