Gaza health ministry says hundreds of Palestinians shot, wounded

The Gaza health ministry reports that 701 Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and tear gas during demonstrations along the Strip’s border fence with Israel.

According to the ministry, 16 of those injured were medical personnel or journalists.

Clashes are currently ongoing in five locations near the security fence. Some 10,000 Palestinians are taking part in the demonstrations, the IDF says.
