IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visits wounded soldiers at rehabilitation hospitals, where he says the military remains on the “highest level of alert” during the Shavuot holiday.
During visits to the Beit Loewenstein Hospital Rehabilitation Center and Rambam Health Care Campus, Zamir meets with troops wounded in combat, including 401st Armored Brigade commander Col. Meir Biderman and Staff Sgt. Sh., a combat military photographer, both wounded yesterday in Lebanon.
“Even during the Shavuot holiday, the IDF remains on the highest level of alert and continues to operate decisively across all fronts, with high readiness and full preparedness for any mission,” Zamir says in remarks published by the military.
The chief of staff also praises the resilience of the wounded troops, their families and medical teams involved in their recovery and rehabilitation.
