IDF condemns threatening graffiti sprayed on Army Radio offices: ‘Unacceptable incitement’

The IDF condemns threatening graffiti sprayed on the offices of the Army Radio in Jaffa, calling it a “serious and unacceptable act of incitement” against military personnel.

In a statement, the IDF says the vandalism must be “unequivocally condemned” and urges law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice.

The condemnation comes after graffiti was sprayed outside the station’s offices, including one message reading, “Your time is running out, your days are numbered,” written in a style resembling religious texts.

Another message threatened what it described as “the head of the snake,” listing the Supreme Court, the Department for Internal Police Investigations and state prosecutors, and declaring “secular heresy” must be removed.

Last month, the cabinet unanimously approved Defense Minister Israel Katz’s controversial proposal to shut down Army Radio, with broadcasts set to end by March 1. The High Court of Justice has issued an interim order freezing the closure until the court reaches a final ruling on petitions against the move.

The legal system and legacy media have long been targeted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
