Hundreds of demonstrators led by Iranian expats cheer for the US and Israel in Times Square, amid the US and Israeli air campaign against the Iranian regime.
The crowd waves pre-Islamic Revolution Iranian flags, bearing the lion-and-sun emblem, and chants for the late deposed shah’s son, Reza Pahlavi. Some demonstrators carry Israeli and US flags.
“Alternative for Iran, King Reza Pahlavi,” and, “Khamenei is gone,” they chant, referring to the former supreme leader killed in the US and Israeli strikes.
A speaker says “God bless the US and Israel,” drawing cheers from the crowd.
An Iranian Jewish singer performs a song in Persian for the crowd.
“We hope it’s the beginning of the end for this horrible regime,” a speaker says.
