Iran reports Israeli strikes on oil depot near Tehran; no comment from IDF
The Israeli Air Force bombed the Shahran oil depot near Tehran a short while ago, according to Iranian media.
Iran’s oil ministry confirms the Israeli attack and says the “situation is under control.”
“The fuel volume in the targeted tank was not high, and the situation is fully under control,” the oil ministry’s SHANA news agency claims.
There is no immediate comment from the IDF.
Earlier, Iranian media reported strikes on the South Pars field in the southern Bushehr province.
