Man, 67, allegedly stabs female worker at south Tel Aviv bank; victim in moderate condition

A 67-year-old man stabbed a woman at the bank where she works in south Tel Aviv a short while ago, according to first responders.

The woman, 45, was rushed to Wolfson Hospital in Holon in moderate condition, the Magen David Adom ambulance service says.

Police say officers arrested the suspect, took him to the Jaffa police station for interrogation and seized the knife he allegedly used.

The stabbing is not thought to be a terror attack, police add.
