MK Sami Abou Shahadeh defeats incumbent Balad chief in leadership vote
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMK Sami Abou Shahadeh wins the leadership primaries of the Arab nationalist Balad party, beating out incumbent leader Mtanes Shihadeh.
Balad is one of four factions that make up the Joint List, an alliance of majority-Arab parties.
