More suspected incendiary balloons found in south

Police sappers have been dispatched to deal with two balloons carrying suspected dangerous materials.

One balloon, carrying an incendiary device, lands in the city of Ofakim.

A second suspect balloon is reported in a cemetery in Beersheba, some  40 kilometers (25 miles) from Gaza, further than most of the arson balloons fly.

The Kan broadcaster reports that Israeli forces are widely expected to hit Gaza with more firepower than typical in reprisal raids late Monday, after a day that saw some 20 suspected incendiary or explosive-laden balloons flown into Israel.
