Police are shot at, return fire in Jaffa criminal incident
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice officers come under fire in an shooting incident in the coastal city of Jaffa.
Shots were fired at police officers patrolling the area, police say in a statement. The officers returned fire at the suspect, who fled the scene on a motorbike.
No officers were injured but one bystander was admitted to the Wolfson Hospital with “very minor injuries,” the statement says.
Police say the motive behind the incident was criminal and not terrorism.
