Reports of balloon-borne explosives over Sderot

Residents of the southern town of Sderot report hearing the sounds of at least three explosions overhead, apparently caused by balloon-borne explosive devices flown into Israel from the Gaza Strip.

There are no reports of injuries or damage.

The blasts come amid escalating tensions between Israel and the Gaza-ruling Hamas terror group in recent days, as the organization appears to threaten to renew violence along the border, unless additional Qatari aid money is allowed into the enclave.
