UN chief calls for end to Israel-Iran conflict: ‘Enough escalation, time to stop’

UNITED NATIONS — The UN chief calls for Israel and Iran to halt their escalating conflict, after Israel launched a preemptive strike on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, resulting in Tehran firing multiple ballistic missile barrages at the Jewish state.

“Enough escalation. Time to stop. Peace and diplomacy must prevail,” Antonio Guterres says on X.
