7-year-old girl shot and killed in Arara, apparently after fight between kids escalated to involve parents

A seven-year-old girl has died of her wounds after being shot and critically injured in Arara.

Police have arrested two people, including the suspected perpetrator and the girl’s father, according to the outlet.

According to the Kan public broadcaster, the shooting took place after parents intervened in a fight between their children.

One of the parents pulled out a gun and fired it, hitting the girl in the neck.

One of the girl’s relatives rushed her in his car to Karkur Junction, where he met with Magen David Adom medics who then took her to Hillel Yaffe Hospital.

Police have not yet commented on the circumstances of the shooting.
