Another tanker hit by unidentified projectile in Strait of Hormuz, says UK military

A tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency says Tuesday.

The tanker is believed to have suffered “structural damage,” the UKMTO says, adding that there were no casualties or environmental impact.

Two other tankers were hit overnight in the Strait, one of which was a Qatari oil tanker, with Doha blaming Iran for the attack.
