Cabinet meeting on lockdown extension begins; Gantz at odds with Health Ministry
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe cabinet meeting where ministers will decide on extending the nationwide lockdown has begun, with Defense Minister Benny Gantz at odds with the Health Ministry.
While the Health Ministry is demanding that the lockdown measures be extended as is for a week, Gantz is calling for them to only be extended by three days, with businesses in low-medium infection zones reopening on Thursday and the education system reopening next Sunday.
