Defense minister: We’ve moved from blocking Iran in Syria to forcing it out
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDefense Minister Naftali Bennett says the Israeli military will not stop attacking Iranian forces in Syria until they leave the country, days after an airstrike attributed to Israel on such forces outside Damascus.
“We have moved from blocking Iran’s entrenchment in Syria to forcing it out of there, and we will not stop,” Bennett says in a statement.
“We will not allow more strategic threats to grow just across our borders without taking action,” he says.
