Explosion hits Kabul airport as Afghan VP returns from exile
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA blast has rocked Kabul’s international airport, just as Afghan Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum was returning to the country after more than a year in exile.
An AFP reporter at the airport says the explosion happened as Dostum was leaving the airport with a large crowd of government officials and supporters.
Casualties are feared.
