Facebook’s Zuckerberg agrees to meet European lawmakers on data scandal
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFacebook chief Mark Zuckerberg has agreed to meet with European Parliament members to answer questions after a data harvesting scandal, a top official says.
Senior lawmakers have “agreed that Mark Zuckerberg should come clarify issues related to the use of personal data in a meeting with representatives of the European Parliament,” the parliament’s leader Antonio Tajani says in a statement, adding the meeting could take place “as early as next week.”
