Fire at kibbutz not started by device from Gaza, investigators say
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleInvestigators have found that the fire in Kibbutz Nir Am near the Gaza border was not sparked by an incendiary device from the Gaza Strip, a spokesperson for the fire department says.
“Following an investigation, Israeli Fire and Rescue Services determined that the fire was not started by a balloon or kite,” spokesperson Eli Cohen says.
The fire has already been extinguished, he adds.
